Turkey Property Investment News
Turkey remains popular with property buyers

Ongoing economic problems are not denting the popularity of Turkey among foreign property buyers, according to experts.
Moneycorp stated that during 2007, it saw a three-fold increase in the amount of interest regarding the Turkish market.
This is despite the financial constraints many consumers are experiencing as a result of the current credit crisis, which has affected demand for property in some locations.
Marc Morley-Freer, spokesperson for Moneycorp, commented: "We are still receiving a high level of enquiries relating to buying property in emerging markets like Turkey."
According to figures from the group, property in cities such as Izmir and Ankara is in high demand, while tourist hotspots such as Bodrum are also attracting lots of interest.
Meanwhile, Holiday-Rentals has flagged up Turkey as a good-value destination for holidaymakers from the UK.
The organisation said that travelling to western European countries such as Italy could be expensive this year due to the strong euro.
Therefore, it has recommended that people visit places which are not in the single currency such as Turkey, as this could enable their money to go further.
