Turkey fits the bill for British buyers

Turkey has been described as a good location for a holiday home by a couple from the UK.
Angus and Alison Charity bought their villa as a short-term investment in order to sell it on at a higher price.
However, they enjoyed their first trip to their Turkish property so much that they changed their minds and decided to keep it for personal use.
Speaking to the Sunday Mail, Mr Charity said: "The people were friendly, we loved the food and the landscape was so pretty.
He added that the good weather was also "a huge bonus", along with the relatively short journey times from the UK.
This, he stated, made it preferable to their original choice of Florida.
The couple now plan to keep the villa as both a holiday home and a long-term investment for their retirement years.
Last month, Reuters reported that Turkey was growing in popularity as a holiday destination.
Citing official figures, the news provider said that visitor numbers had increased by more than a quarter during the year to October 2007.
