Scottish sun-seekers 'heading for Turkey'

Bad weather in Scotland has prompted many people to look at taking a break in a sunny location, a holiday firm has revealed.
King World Travel stated that thousands of people had been booking trips to foreign countries such as Turkey in order to escape the dreary conditions.
The company added that the torrential rain that hit the UK last summer had also played a part, as people were "fed up" and wanted to see the sun.
Jackie Sindlay, manager of the firm's Paisley branch, commented: "Last summer was terrible and families just want to finally get some sun."
Speaking to the Paisley Daily Express, she said that Spain was also proving to be a popular option, particularly among family groups.
This comes after the Association of British Travel Agents said that sunny locations were favoured by two-thirds of people heading abroad in January.
The organisation added that the remainder were travelling to places that offered guaranteed snow.
