More Britons planning trips to Turkey

A growing number of leisure travellers in the UK are planning to take a break in Turkey, new figures have revealed.
According to Cheapflights.co.uk, interest in some parts of the country has gone up by nearly a fifth in the last year.
This has been attributed to external economic factors, such as the strength of the euro against the pound.
The current value of the single currency has forced up the cost of travelling to many eurozone countries, which has in turn hit demand for trips to places such as Spain.
Chris Cuddy, chief executive of Cheapflights.co.uk, commented: "A definite trend appears to be emerging for alternative vacation destinations."
The figures should be welcome reading for those who own an investment property in Turkey, as it suggests demand for rental accommodation is set to grow.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents, the number of people from the UK booking trips to Turkey is 20 per cent up on last year.
