Inland Turkey recommended to investors

Overseas property investors are being encouraged to purchase a residence in inland parts of Turkey.
Foreign Property Buyer said that tourism authorities are now promoting the whole country to overseas consumers and not just coastal resorts.
This suggests that these areas are likely to attract more and more visitors during the next few years, therefore creating greater demand for rental accommodation.
As a result, the online portal has urged buyers to consider purchasing a residence in inland Turkey sooner rather than later.
This, it said, would allow them to snap up a bargain before it starts to increase in value.
The website commented: "Buying a property in a less touristy area now may just prove to be the right move - prices will be lower than in the current top tourist areas."
Foreign Property Buyer added that this strategy should generate "excellent returns" for investors.
This comes after TurkishPress.com quoted Ahmet Barut of the Turkish Hotels Federation as saying that he expected a record number of people to visit Turkey in 2008.
