Britons shun eurozone countries

Holidaymakers in the UK are increasingly shunning traditional tourism hotspots in Europe, it has been revealed.
According to Phil Davies, editor of the TravelMole website, current exchange rates are impacting on the popularity of Spain and France among British tourists.
This is because the pound is at an all-time low against the single European currency, a development which has hiked up the cost of holidaying within the eurozone.
As a result, many people are choosing to travel to areas such as eastern Europe and take advantage of more favourable exchange rates.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Mr Davies commented: "Given people are counting the pennies, the strong euro is having a significant impact on where people are going."
This comes after the Association of British Travel Agents revealed that it has seen a strong growth in the number of bookings for mid to long-haul destinations this year.
