Spain 'offers cheaper cost of living'

Britons who move to Spain may find that their money lasts for much longer, new research has found.
A study by HSBC found that of all the countries that offered a high standard of living, the UK was the third most expensive in the world.
However, a typical annual salary earned in the UK was found to go a lot further in Spain, without the need for a person to compromise on their lifestyle.
According to the high street bank, a year's pay would last about 15 months in Spain.
Commenting on the findings, HSBC's Enrique Roche said: "This research gives great insight into those countries that will allow your cash to stretch the furthest and in turn, those countries that may shrink it."
This comes after research by UKForex found that more than nine out of ten UK citizens who now lived in Spain were happy with their new life abroad.
