Property developers offer incentives to buyers

A number of property developers in Spain are offering incentives in order to attract prospective buyers, according to industry analysts.
Foreign Property Buyer said some builders are giving consumers the chance to pick up "extras" such as free cars and cash in order to tempt people to part with their money.
This move has been triggered by the downturn in the global economy, which has already impacted on Spain and many other countries.
However, Foreign Property Buyer said this is not "all bad news" for overseas investors, as some could put themselves in line to receive these additional perks.
The website commented: "It is an excellent time to see how many freebies you can get thrown in with your build."
Investors were advised to see what other local builders are giving away and use this as a "bargaining tool" in their own purchase.
According to Holiday Rentals, Spain accounts for nearly one in three British-owned properties in Europe.
