New Spanish service launched by Ryanair

New flights from the UK to the Costa Blanca in Spain are to be launched next week.
Budget airline Ryanair will begin offering thrice-weekly passage from Doncaster Sheffield Airport to Alicante from November 24th.
The introduction of the service represents a further improvement to the accessibility of Spain to people in the Yorkshire area.
This means that Alicante is likely to experience a number of knock-on effects as a result, such as increased tourist numbers and additional interest from overseas property buyers.
Ashley Casey, spokesperson for Ryanair, commented: "[The area has] beaches stretching for kilometres, countless sightseeing attractions and a wealth of shops and boutiques with something to suit every shopper."
This follows last week's announcement by Thomas Cook Holidays that it will begin offering flights to Spain from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Investment prospects in other European countries could also be enhanced, as the firm will also offer extra flights to Turkey, Cyprus and Portugal.
