More Britons set to buy abroad

The continuing economic turmoil across the world is not denting the appeal of foreign property ownership, new figures have revealed.
According to Exchange Insurance Company, people from the UK and Republic of Ireland collectively own a total of 3.81 million properties across the world.
However, the organisation believes that this number could be higher at the end of this year, possibly by as much as ten per cent.
This is despite the financial constraints people are currently facing as a result of the global credit crunch, which has already contributed to the pound falling to a record low against the euro.
However, the problems in the global economy are already believed to be impacting on some people's travel habits.
Helen Warburton of the Post Office recently told the Daily Mail that many are choosing to travel outside the eurozone for their holidays.
This is because people are looking for destinations where their holiday money will go further.
