'Life abroad suits expats'

The majority of expatriates believe that living abroad has improved their quality of life, according to a new study.
A survey conducted by BUPA International revealed that 68 per cent of expats said their better way of life was the aspect of living overseas they liked most.
Meanwhile, nearly half said that they feel more relaxed and happier living in their new country, overseas property investors may be interested to know.
However, Tim Slee, head of European sales at the firm, said that making such a move needed to be given a certain degree of consideration.
"Moving abroad is a huge life-changing challenge and while our survey shows it's a very successful move for most people, careful planning is essential," he advised.
Last month, HiFX reported that some 16 million people were thinking of making the move abroad due to the current economic climate.
The firm claimed that both France and Spain were popular destinations for emigrating Britons.
