Global travel 'has entered the mainstream'

The growth of international aviation has made foreign travel increasingly commonplace, according to a media report.
UK newspaper the Telegraph said that innovations such as the Channel Tunnel and budget airlines had allowed Britons an unprecedented amount of access to other countries.
This, it stated, had resulted in many people being willing to leave the UK and live abroad on a permanent basis.
The newspaper commented: "The globe has become a smaller, less intimidating place.
"Living abroad simply isn't a big deal anymore."
The publication went on to refute the suggestion that people were mainly living the UK because they were disillusioned with the state of the country.
Recently, official figures revealed that a record number of Britons moved abroad during 2006.
European countries such as Spain and France were found to be among the most popular destinations in the world, as these attracted a total of one in four expatriates.
