Spain Property Investment News
Established markets 'popular with Britons'

British investors are still opting to purchase property in established European markets, according to new research.
A Place in the Sun magazine revealed that Spain and France were the top two investment markets for the second consecutive year.
This is despite strong competition from a number of emerging markets such as Bulgaria, Morocco and the Cape Verde islands.
Richard Way, editor of A Place in the Sun magazine, said this showed that many investors from the UK favoured the traditional option.
He commented: "When looking for a second home or a new life in the sun it seems that Spain's mix of great weather, rich culture and beautiful coastline is keeping the country at the number one spot."
However, he said that many investors were still willing to seek out new hotspots and investment opportunities elsewhere.
According to Datamonitor, British and Irish citizens now own more than 3.8 million properties overseas.
