British expats 'unhappy with life in UK'
Many Britons are choosing to move abroad because they are unhappy at certain aspects of British life, according to industry analysts.
The Spanish Property Owners Guild stated that lots of people are choosing to set up home in places such as Spain in order to improve their quality of life.
Many Britons were said to be dissatisfied with life in the UK because of concerns regarding issues such as immigration and crime.
The organisation added that others were unhappy with the relatively high cost of living in Britain, as well as the size of their tax payments.
Paul Bradley, spokesperson for Spanish Property Owners Guild, commented: "We have a growing number of Brits making a new life here.
He added that Spain offers a "wonderful life" and will always be popular with British property buyers.
The Association of International Property Professionals recently revealed that Spain is currently the main hotspot for British property buyers.
Figures showed that it accounted for 25.4 per cent of all the purchases made last year.
