Affluent Brits moving abroad

Well-off people in the UK are increasingly choosing to move abroad, an expert has revealed.
Paul Arthur, director of The Emigration Group, stated that residents of many affluent commuter towns were especially likely to set up home overseas.
Speaking to the Southport Visiter, he described these areas as "hotspots" for emigration, adding that Middle England was "on the move".
Mr Arthur commented: "Many of the clients I advise are basically looking for a better life both for themselves and their children and they see emigration as a way of achieving this."
He added that lots of people were choosing to move abroad because they were unhappy with certain developments and trends in the UK.
For example, some were said to be unhappy with the current level of immigration, while others were concerned with issues such as crime.
Earlier this week, Emigrate magazine editor Paul Beasley told Homes Worldwide that some Britons believed that moving abroad would give them a sense of "kudos" among their peer group.
