Eastern Europe offers good value

The declining value of the pound could lead to many people visiting eastern Europe this year, according to experts.
Currency exchange specialist Travelex stated that places such as Slovakia, Bulgaria and Croatia are not in the eurozone.
Since the pound has now fallen to a record low against the single European currency, these countries could be more affordable places for Britons to visit.
John Nicholas, director of Travelex, commented: "Holidaymakers travelling to these destinations find that they get a better value for their pound against the local currency."
He stated that general living costs are lower in the region, which means people's money could potentially go much further.
Mr Nicholas added that eastern European countries are continuing to become more popular with leisure travellers every year.
This comes after Helen Warburton of the Post Office told the Independent that it is a good time to be visiting the region, as relative prices have "rarely been better".
