Transylvanian market has bite

Though immortalised as the land of vampiric terror, Transylvania is beginning to sink its teeth into the European property market.
According to market experts, the Romanian market is flourishing since its accession to the EU, with Transylvania emerging as a popular holiday destination.
UK buyers considering a move into the overseas property market would be better off taking a comfortable bath robe to the region than the traditional stake, crucifix and garlic, as the Marisia EcoSpa in the Ideciu de Jos area is scheduled to open soon.
The eco-friendly resort is being built to British standards - even using three-pin plug sockets - and will use rain and wind energy to power the luxury spa treatments.
Talking to easier.com, Anda Giorgio of Romanian Property Connections Ltd said:
"The Marisia EcoSpa Resort represents a marvellous opportunity for Britons looking for a sound investment in holiday property abroad.
"It is perfect as an investment in the booming Romanian market for domestic tourism and Transylvania's emergence as an international holiday destination and property investment hotspot."
