New Portugal flights offered by budget airline

A low-cost air carrier has started offering cheap passage to Portugal from a regional airport in the UK.
Business and leisure travellers will be able to use the easyJet service to travel between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Lisbon.
The service, which will fly out from the portal four times a week, will significantly boost the ease of access to Portugal for people living and working in the Merseyside area.
Estimates from the carrier suggest that up to 43,000 people could use the service to reach the country in the next 12 months.
This could be particularly good news for overseas property investors in the Lisbon area, as owners of rental accommodation can benefit from greater demand.
Furthermore, the improved accessibility could prove to encourage future buyers to invest in the market, since it will be easier for them to reach.
According to Gatwick Airport, Portugal was the second-most popular tourist destination during the half-term holidays after Spain.
