Irish holidaymakers plan to escape rain

Irish holidaymakers are planning ahead in order to avoid enduring another wet summer, according to a newspaper.
The Meath Chronicle revealed that a large number of travel agents were currently seeing a rush of people booking their holidays.
This was largely attributed the poor weather in Ireland last summer, as the country was lashed by torrential rains.
As a result, demand for last-minute trips abroad went up significantly, resulting in many people missing out.
Therefore, holidaymakers are apparently not taking any chances and ensuring their break in the sun is fully booked well in advance.
The newspaper commented: "Last summer's dismal weather and an equally miserable January has led to a rush of early holiday bookings."
Earlier this month, the Association of British Travel Agents stated that many people were overcoming the "post-Christmas blues" by booking holidays abroad during January.
