Ryanair opens up Polish market

A number of new flights to Poland are set to be launched from the UK later this year, it has been confirmed.
Low-cost airline Ryanair has revealed that it will add flights from Edinburgh to destinations including Poznan and Krakow during the next few months.
The carrier will also begin flying from the Scottish city to Lodz and Wroclaw at the same time.
This represents a further improvement to the accessibility of Poland to people in the north of the UK, a move which could attract extra holidaymakers to the country.
In addition, the enhanced transport connections may also boost its appeal to overseas property buyers.
Last month, the Telegraph credited budget airlines with helping to open up eastern Europe to prospective investors from the UK.
David Johnston, managing director of Edinburgh Airport, commented: "We are proud that Edinburgh has a destinations network fit for a world class capital city."
He added that he was anticipating strong demand for Ryanair's new flights to Poland.
