Morocco offers good value for money

Visitors to Morocco are increasingly taking advantage of reduced living costs, according to new figures.
Research by Teletext Holidays found that the price of essential purchases such as food and drink is much lower in Morocco than in many popular European countries.
For example, a pint of beer in the north African nation costs on average just over 50p.
This is less than a third of the average price of a similar beverage in Spain.
Figures also showed that a similar trend was apparent when the price of food, accommodation and transport was compared with Europe.
This could account for the rising popularity of Morocco among holidaymakers from across the globe.
Ash Makkar of Teletext Holidays said: "Interest in countries such as Morocco has grown significantly, proving people are becoming more adventurous."
Last week, Maghreb Arabe Press cited official figures showing the country is proving to be especially popular with European leisure travellers, particularly people from France, Spain and the UK.
