Morocco 'different from the rest of Africa'

The north African country of Morocco has been described as a country that differs from other nations on the continent.
Today's Zaman said it was a "mysterious" place that provided a bridge between Africa and Europe, combining the traits of both.
According to the newspaper, its proximity to its neighbouring continent has created numerous cultural differences from the rest of Africa, as well as political and economic variations.
As an example, it highlighted the coastal city of Tangier, a "lovely" place which it said resembled somewhere on the European side of the Meditteranean.
However, Marrakesh was described as the most popular place in the country and an area that had become synonymous with tourism.
This could make the city a good location for prospective investors in the Moroccan property market, as there would be strong potential for high rental yields.
According to online travel agency Freedom Direct, Britons who want to visit an "exotic" destination are increasingly choosing to visit Morocco.
