Moroccan tourist officials visit Germany

Tourist officials in Morocco have visited Europe in an effort to attract more German tourists.
Leading figures including tourism minister Mohamed Boussaid travelled to Berlin in order to take part in a major travel trade show.
It is hoped their participation in the event will help to boost Morocco's holiday industry and lead to more Germans considering the country as a viable destination.
The emphasis is being placed on its natural and cultural assets in order to broaden its appeal.
Mr Boussaid was quoted by Magharebia as saying: "We just need to adapt our product because the German market is mainly focused on beach holidays."
If the government is successful in boosting visitor numbers, this should have a positive impact on its growing property market.
This means that overseas property investors will be able to benefit from further growth, along with extra demand for rental accommodation.
Morocco attracted more than seven million foreign visitors last year, although it hopes to increase this figure to ten million by 2010.
