More tourists set to visit Morocco

Morocco's tourist industry is likely to expand further in the next few years, according to a media report.
Travel and Tourism News stated that increasing visitor numbers in the north African country was leading to the need for more tourist accommodation.
According to official figures cited by the news outlet, the number of holidaymakers arriving in Morocco last year was 6.5 million.
Meanwhile, the government is aiming to attract more visitors, since it is one of the country's most lucrative sectors.
It is hoped that in three years time, the annual number of people taking holidays in Morocco will be closer to ten million.
As well as being highly important for the country's economy, this could also create potential opportunities for investors in foreign property.
This comes after the Morocco's tourism department reported that the number of visitors to the country between January and July 2007 was ten per cent higher than at the same time last year.
