More Britons set to move abroad

The number of Britons choosing to live abroad is set to keep rising in the next few years, according to an expert.
Paul Arthur, director of The Emigration Group, stated that the prospect of cutting general living costs was increasingly tempting people abroad.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, he said people wanted their money to go further and felt that this could be possible if they lived in a less expensive country.
He added that many of British expatriates came from fairly affluent, middle-class commuter towns such as Stockport.
Mr Arthur commented: "Middle England is on the move and areas like Stockport are the hotspots for emigration."
The newspaper went on to cite figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which showed that 8,500 residents of the town have moved abroad since 2003.
This is the third-highest figure in the country.
ONS figures have also recently showed that 207,000 UK nationals moved abroad during 2006 - a record figure under current measuring systems.
