Invest in Italy's "best kept secret"

Investment property in Italy could have a new hotspot, according to Property Frontiers.
The consultancy has highlighted the scenic rural region of Le Marche as a top investment destination, citing a winning combination of rustic charm and cultural diversity.
A statement from the website claims that an increase in the availability of cheap flights to Ancona, Rimini and Forli has led to a growth in tourist traffic as well as stimulating activity in the real estate market.
It continued: "Nestling in Italy's rural heart, between the rolling hills of Tuscany and the medieval charm of Umbria, is Le Marche, perhaps Italys best kept secret.
"Less established yet with all the appeal of its more famous neighbours, Le Marche houses 180 km of stunning Adriatic coastline, acres of glorious countryside and the majestic peaks of the Apennines."
The statement added: "The Le Marche region is steeped in history with monuments dating back to Roman times and hillsides peppered with medieval villages oozing character and authentic charm.
"Add to this stunning beaches, delicious local cuisine, an array of outdoor activities and the highest density of museums and galleries to be found anywhere in Italy, and you have a region whose undeniable charms are hard to resist."
Italy was recently named as one of the ideal destinations for British 18 to 24-year-olds looking to invest overseas.
