Calabria recommended to investors

People who are thinking of investing in Italy have been advised to look at southern parts of the country.
Stephen Ferguson, owner of an Italian holiday home, stated that areas such as Calabria offered cheaper property values than places in the north.
In addition, he said the province was largely undiscovered, meaning that it had not been saturated by tourists and still had its authentic charm.
Speaking to the Sunday Mail, Mr Ferguson commented: "You're very much away from the hustle and bustle of a busy resort but there are still great facilities and lots of things to do."
He added that the region was also good for rental investors, as it was popular with holidaymakers from various countries, including people from other parts of Italy.
According to the Telegraph, the introduction of flights to Calabria by Ryanair has been significantly helped to raise the profile of the area, leading to strong growth in its local property market.
