Britons set to flock to the Med

Overseas property investors could potentially find rental accommodation along the Mediterranean highly lucrative.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), the area is proving to be a major hotspot for holidaymakers from the UK this year.
This is despite the various constraints on consumer finances that people are currently experiencing, such as the increasing price of fuel.
Sean Tipton, spokesperson for ABTA, said a trip abroad is still highly sought-after because it offers some respite from domestic economic problems.
He added that the relatively poor weather in the UK has also helped to make the south of Europe a very appealing place to visit.
Mr Tipton commented: "If you go to the Mediterranean at this time of year you can rely on consistently good weather."
The comments coincide with predictions from the Met Office that higher than average amounts of rain will hit the UK throughout the summer.
