Montenegro labelled a "gift from God"

A new report has praised the tourism prospects of Montenegro, in news that could affect investors looking at property in the emerging nation.
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) applauded the growth of the Montenegrin tourism sector, which has been one of the three fastest growing tourist economies in the world for four years running.
Jean Claude Baumgarten, WTTC president, said that efforts to improve the country's infrastructure should continue and would improve the nation's ability to market itself as a high-quality destination.
He continued: "You have great possibilities and I donâ™t mean by that only high quality investors, but also the north, which is a gift from God. That is something on which you should work on in the future development," reports Visit-Montenegro.com.
Commenting on the WTTC comments, tourism minister Pedrag Nenezic said: "The report is realistic and has identified the main positive sides and weakness of Montenegro as a tourism destination."
He added that the WTTC recommendations would be included in the government's tourism 'master-plan', the success of which would greatly benefit property investors.
