Megeve pulls in year-round investors

Purchasing overseas property needn't be limited to a place in the sun or an alpine retreat - resorts like Megeve prove that a dual-season property means great value for money.
Buying into an overseas resort that provides year-round facilities could prove a very clever investment, allowing you and your family to jet off to your second home at any time of year, or alternatively to get your fix of winter sports and then pick up some valuable rental income in the summer months.
Talking to the Daily Telegraph, Ellie Green of property specialists Assetz confirmed that environmental concerns had informed the growing trend for dual-season resorts.
She said: "Global warming may be an issue for lower altitude resorts. So many resorts are putting in more facilities to expand into summer tourism."
Though its ski conditions are notably fantastic, there's a wealth of activities available in the summer, with golf, kayaking and the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views from the Aigulle du Midi only a small selection of the delights of the resort.
With the likes of Jack Nicholson, Zinedine Zidane and Elle MacPherson regularly spotted, you're sure to pick up some lucrative rental income throughout the year.
