Valentine's tourists 'should prepare in advance'

People who are heading out of the country for Valentine's Day have been advised to prepare their trip in advance.
Research by Teletext Holidays revealed that many couples fall out while on a romantic trip abroad due to issues such as not knowing their way around.
This has prompted the organisation to suggest that leisure travellers who want to romance their partner overseas prepare for this contingency.
Matt Cheevers, managing director of Teletext Holidays, said that following these advice could help keep arguments at a minimum.
He commented: "The key to a successful romantic trip is preparation. Spend time online researching your trip before you go away."
The study identified Paris as the place where people were most likely to fall out, whereas Barcelona was rated as the most romantic destination.
According to a poll by PayPal, more than one in four people in the UK would like to receive a weekend away as their Valentine's Day present.
