UK workers willing to move abroad

Many British workers would be willing to further their careers in mainland Europe, according to a new study.
Research by Manpower found that 53 per cent of the UK labour force are prepared to move to another country for work reasons.
Mainland Europe was highlighted as one of the most popular destinations, although respondents differed on the length of time they would wish to remain overseas.
One in two respondents said they would look at returning home within three years, while more than a third said they would relocate permanently.
Commenting on the findings, Manpower's managing director Mark Cahill stated that employers in the UK would not find outward migration a problem.
He remarked: "Today's labour market has a constant circulation of workers - out of the UK as well as into the country."
This comes after NatWest International Personal Banking revealed that expats who have moved abroad appear to be healthier and happier than they were at home.
