Moving abroad 'improves quality of life'

Moving to another country could help improve a person's quality of life, according to an expert.
Peter Ellis, chief executive of Foreign Currency Direct, stated that buying a property abroad could be a "great opportunity" to enhance their lifestyle.
Speaking to the Daily Express, he added that moving abroad could also be a sound financial move, as a property can be an "excellent investment".
However, Mr Ellis urged those who are thinking of relocating to make sure they carry out advance research before committing to a move.
He commented: "We would urge Britons looking to relocate to research the local amenities and resources of their chosen destination thoroughly."
Mr Ellis was speaking after research by Foreign Currency Direct revealed that some expats miss some aspects of British life, such as traditional pubs and certain food brands.
According to the Office for National Statistics, more than 200,000 UK nationals moved abroad during 2006.
The organisation highlighted France and Spain as two of the most popular destinations for British expats.
