France to attract more investors

More and more foreign property buyers are set to invest in the French market, industry analysts have said.
According to NuBricks.com, the launch of a high-speed rail link between London and Paris has led to a surge in tourism from the UK.
As well as opening up the country to holidaymakers, Eurostar's new service also puts it in easy reach of property investors and second home buyers.
The rail link offers reduced journey times of just two hours and 15 minutes between St Pancras and Paris - 20 minutes faster than the previous route from Waterloo.
NuBricks.com said: "As some areas of the European property market show signs of running out of steam, expect to see renewed interest in new destination opened up as a result of Eurostar."
The website added that Eurostar's passenger numbers during the first quarter of 2008 were 21 per cent up on the same period of the previous year.
According to currency specialist HiFX, the new service has prompted some people in the south of England to look at moving to France and commuting to work in the UK.
