Tourism boosts Egyptian rental market

Owners of an investment property in Egypt could be set to cash in on growing tourism in the country.
According to Alpharooms.com, ongoing economic problems are not putting people off heading abroad this summer, TravelMole reports.
Egypt was flagged up as one of the most popular destinations, as many holidaymakers are choosing to avoid expensive eurozone countries.
This means that people who own a rental property in the African nation will be likely to experience high demand for their services.
Gareth Hockey, online marketing manager at Alpharooms.com, said: "Despite the continued doom and gloom, people just want to get away."
He added that the desire to go on holiday is so strong that people are making cutbacks in other areas in order to afford a trip overseas.
This comes after the Association of British Travel Agents revealed that it has seen a strong growth in the number of bookings for mid to long-haul destinations this year.
