Egypt aims to boost tourism

Tourism authorities in Egypt have revealed plans to attract more holidaymakers to the country.
According to NuBricks.com, the government is aiming to boost annual visitor numbers to 14 million in the next three years.
The website believes that this could have a positive effect on the Egyptian economy, as tourism would generate higher revenues.
In addition, it said this could also encourage more overseas property buyers to consider investing in the country.
NuBricks.com remarked: "The increase in expected Egyptian visitor numbers and tourism income makes interesting reading for many foreign property investors."
The website added that the growth of the tourism industry in Egypt could be "potentially" lucrative for buyers from other countries.
This comes after Paul Collins of the BuyAssociation website said Sharm El Sheikh is a particularly popular area among foreign investors, along with Hurghada, Dahab and El Guona.
