Dubai property market has shaped up in last 5 years

New research has revealed that Dubai's property finance industry has been on the up over the course of the last five years.
A questionnaire of consumers ahead of DSL Exhibitions' Resale & Rental Property Show in the city revealed that since the United Arab Emirates' property finance sector's inception in 2001, it has gone from strength to strength.
The study found that 75 per cent of consumers believe that there is sufficient choice in the United Arab Emirates' range of mortgage advisors, which is a real boost for those thinking of purchasing a property in the region.
Tessa Morris, the marketing director of DSL Exhibitions, commented: "We conducted this opinion survey to understand the issues that concern the consumers so we could offer this opinion snapshot to our exhibitors."
The questionnaire did, however, throw up some areas of improvement, with a number of those canvassed stating that prices are still too high for middle-income families, while others claimed that the market needs to mature in terms of flexibility and innovation of products.
