Dubai 'could be a good investment'

An investment property in Dubai could be a potentially lucrative purchase, an expert has suggested.
According to Paul Collins from the BuyAssociation website, it is not fair to say the worldwide boom in house prices has come to an end.
This, he said, is because it is largely European countries such as Spain which are suffering in the face of the economic downturn.
By contrast, house prices in the United Arab Emirates have risen "quite steeply" since the beginning of this year.
Therefore, Mr Collins has said that while the situation in the worldwide economy is "not the most favourable", good investment opportunities can still be found in such places.
He commented: "There are still markets that are growing.
"It's just that people need to do more research to find the right markets."
Mr Collins added that although prices are declining in some countries, property markets are cyclical, meaning that other places are seeing growth at the same time.
AMEInfo recently revealed that house prices in some parts of Dubai have gone up by 15 per cent in the last month.
