Prague Airport expects growth in passenger numbers

A major transport hub in the Czech Republic is expecting to deal with more passengers this year, it has been reported.
According to Thomson Financial, about 12.4 million passed through the terminals at Prague Airport during 2007.
The facility is expecting this figure to increase to 13.3 million this year, as a greater number of airlines are now operating flights to and from Prague.
This development may also be partly due to growing interest in the country from foreign investors.
A report in the Prague Post has revealed that property in the city is much cheaper than in many other parts of Europe.
As a result, it is proving to be a highly attractive location to real estate investors who wish to snap up a residence in a prime location.
The improved accessibility that will result from more airline routes to Prague could potentially enhance its appeal even further.
