Residents talk about their experiences of Cyprus

A radio station in Cyprus has allowed residents of the country to offer feedback on their experiences of the island.
The invitation is open to all people who reside in the country, including those who have bought investment property in Cyprus.
Various individuals have contacted Radio Napa, regaling the nation with tales of property development, among other issues, reports the Famagusta Gazette.
According to the newspaper, people have been getting in touch with the broadcaster to talk about the way the property market has changed over the years. One man rang in to say that he considered buying an old house with land in 1993, but the £9,000 asking price was too much.
Such stories highlight how the property market in Cyprus has grown over the years, as it is unlikely that someone could purchase a similar development for the same sort of price today.
Cyprus joined the European Union four years ago and Cypriots are positive about the influence this has had on the country, the same publication reported earlier this month.
