Older Britons 'moving to Cyprus'

British retirees are increasingly choosing to spend their post-working life in Cyprus, experts have said.
According to Expat Network, the Mediterranean island is highly popular among those who want to set up home outside of the UK.
The organisation stated that older people were one of the main demographics opting to go to the country on a permanent basis.
Sheila Hare, editor and director of Expat Network, commented: "Cyprus is a big expat retirement place."
The popularity of the island could stem from its appeal as a holiday destination, as the number of people going there this year has risen by 0.5 per cent.
According to official figures cited by the Financial Mirror, more than 42,000 British leisure travellers have visited during the year to date.
Cyprus was also found to be a very popular holiday spot among people from countries such as Greece, Russia and Germany.
