Cyprus Property Investment News
Northern Cyprus a popular investment destination

Northern Cyprus is becoming increasingly popular as an investment destination.
The economy in the region has seen a sizable boom in recent years - growing by well over ten per cent last year - and international property investors have been among the first to benefit.
Tourism has also been surging in the region, with an average annual increase in numbers of more than six per cent since 2003.
Causing a particular stir is the city of Famagusta and its surrounding towns.
They have been receiving marked attention from property developers.
One reason is that they are ideally located, at only 30 minutes from Ercan Airport and 40 minutes from Larnaca International airport - both of which offer services run by BA, BMI and Cyprus Turkish Airlines.
Another is that they are steeped in history, play host to some of the most stunning beaches and generally offer a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the south.
Northern Cyprus is also home to a number of superb golf courses.
Cyprus is due to switch its currency to the Euro in 2008, further buoying up property values.
