New flights to boost Cyprus investment prospects

The investment potential of the Larnaca area of Cyprus is set to be boosted by the launch of new flights to the region.
Monarch will begin offering services from Manchester and Gatwick Airport later this year, therefore boosting its accessibility to UK consumers.
Meanwhile, it is to increase the frequency of flights on its existing Luton-Larnaca service.
This means that the region and its surrounding areas will be likely to attract a larger number of holidaymakers from the UK.
As a result, the demand for rental accommodation will be much higher, therefore opening up new opportunities for investors.
Liz Savage, managing director of Monarch, commented: "There has been huge demand from passengers for additional scheduled services to Cyprus and the launch of flights from Manchester and Gatwick are in response to this."
Earlier this month, British Airways said it would begin offering direct passage between Gatwick Airport and Paphos at the beginning of July - a move which it says demonstrates its commitment to the country.
