New flights launched from Yorkshire airport

Tourists and overseas property investors in the north of England are set to benefit from new flights overseas.
Low-cost airline Jet2.com has launched a range of services from its Leeds Bradford International Airport to destinations such as France, Germany and Cyprus.
The company said that the new flights would "significantly" raise the profile of the airport and potentially boost tourism on both sides.
This could also have a positive knock-on effect on the overseas property investment, due to greater accessibility to other countries.
Ed Anderson, managing director of Leeds Bradford International Airport, commented: "It represents the largest number of new routes ever added to the airport's portfolio in a single announcement."
He added that the development was "stunning news" for the Yorkshire region and offered business and leisure travellers a "superb" choice of destinations from their local airport.
Last week, Obelisk International stated that new routes launched by cheaper carriers tended to signify which markets were likely to become possible investment hotspots.
