Investors advised to consider Cyprus
Cyprus could be a good location for overseas property buyers to consider, experts have suggested.
According to Home Move, the Mediterranean island has several factors in its favour that could attract foreign investors.
The country was praised for offering attractions such as good transport links with the rest of the world, as well as a modern infrastructure.
Home Move added that its geographical location and overall affordability also enhances its status as a "strong investment market".
However, it highlighted Cyprus's growing property market as one of the main factors that could tempt foreign buyers to the country.
The website commented: "The property market has been on the rise in Cyprus over the last couple of years."
Home Move stated that prices are likely to keep rising for the "foreseeable future", possibly by as much as eight per cent this year.
According to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, house price inflation in Cyprus outpaced rival markets such as Spain and France in 2007.
