Flights set to boost European tourism

Rental investors in many European tourist hotspots could be set to see greater demand this summer.
Thomas Cook Airlines has announced that it is increasing its capacity at Leeds Bradford Airport (LBIA) by launching a raft of new services.
Flights to destinations in Spain, Portugal and Greece will be added to its schedules, along with new routes to Cyprus and Turkey.
This means that people living in West Yorkshire will be able to travel to these locations directly from an airport based in their region.
As a result, the tourist trade in these countries could be set for a boost as a result of the accessibility improvements.
This means that demand for rental accommodation in the most desirable locations will increase, thereby benefiting buy-to-let investors.
Tony Hallwood from LBIA commented: "We know for many customers across the Yorkshire region, flying from their regional airport is high priority when booking their holiday."
According to NuBricks.com, the holiday industry now accounts for much of the gross domestic product in many leading tourist hotspots, such as Spain.
