Cyprus 'offers a range of attractions to tourists'

A British newspaper has praised the island of Cyprus for offering a good range of attractions for different age groups.
The People said that children, families, young adults and retirees could find a "perfect mix" of activities on the Mediterranean island.
For example, the publication highlighted its bars and restaurants which existed in close proximity to good scenery and cultural attractions.
In addition, the historical significance of areas such as Paphos was also flagged up, due to its status as a world heritage site.
The area was said to have broad appeal, as it offered a wide variety of activities to tourists in a "relatively quiet" and "picturesque" region.
Jon Wise, writer for the People, remarked: "With its stunning mountains, hidden beaches and sunny climate, it's easy to see why millions of Brits fall in love with the island."
This comes shortly after Cypriot newspaper the Financial Mirror reported that income from the tourist sector on the island rose by 3.2 per cent during the last year.
