Eastern Europe recommended to tourists

British leisure travellers have been advised to consider visiting countries in eastern Europe.
According to MSN Money, places such as Romania, Poland and Croatia could offer the best value for money for people from the UK.
This is because the pound recently slumped to an all-time low against the single European currency, thereby making destinations such as Italy more expensive.
Since this comes at a time when Britons are also facing problems such as a credit crisis and rising fuel costs, getting value for money could be an important issue for many people.
MSN Money commented: "Holidaying anywhere in the eurozone is an expensive business."
The website added that since places such as Romania are not in the single currency, they still offer bargain prices to visitors.
This comes after the Mirror suggested that people who venture outside the eurozone will be "quids in".
