Investors 'to benefit from Cape Verde infrastructure work'

Overseas property investors in Cape Verde are likely to benefit from infrastructure improvements across the island, it has been reported.
According to MacauHub, several foreign consortiums are investing millions of pounds in developing new facilities as part of a major building project.
Although the work is being designed to compliment new luxury hotels, the infrastructure renovation should benefit the whole area, both in practical terms and as a means of establishing Cape Verde as a modern holiday destination.
Investment in modern roads and power generation systems could potentially tempt tourists to stay in rental accommodation in certain parts of the archipelago.
MacauHub stated that several run-down areas will be regenerated as a result, potentially opening up new parts of Cape Verde to overseas property investors and holidaymakers.
This comes after Homes Worldwide reported that Cape Verde airline TACV was launching new direct flights between the islands and London's Stansted Airport.
