Cape Verde tourism boosts investment prospects

Overseas property investors could find a number of investment opportunities in the Cape Verde islands.
According to the Sun newspaper, the west African archipelago is a "paradise" all year round and an increasingly popular holiday destination for Britons.
This was said to be largely because it offers favourable and consistently sunny weather conditions.
The Sun commented: "Cape Verde's archipelago of sun-soaked islands off west Africa are our nearest tropical getaway."
Although it said Sal Island has the most direct flights from the UK, the publication added that other islands are also developing their own international airports.
This means that the country as a whole is being opened up to people across the globe, therefore creating new opportunities for investors and holiday home buyers as a result.
According to the International Monetary Fund, Cape Verde is likely to see economic growth of about 7.7 per cent this year.
